Colors & Themes for the Year.

This is very much a work in progress, so please check back often.  Feel free to suggest additions in the main chat section. Colors are being added first. Themes will follow.

Your own imagination is the only limit on how you’d like to share the colors of each month. You can go strictly literal by having your dolls wearing birthstone colored jewelry or you can carry the colors out into clothing, surroundings, etc. Whatever you do, just have fun doing it. 

January:

Burgundy (Garnet), Silver

Themes:

New Kids on the Block: No singing required. Show us your newest addition(s).

Dressed to the Nines: Your dolls in the finest of their finery.

Backdrops and room settings: When the weather outside is frightful or when you just don't have the time to get outdoors and take pics; what back drops and room settings do you  like to use?

Winter fun: How do your dolls enjoy the cold winter weather? Playing outside in the snow? Curled up by a fire reading a good book? Sipping cocoa and hanging out with friends? Your imagination is the only limit.

Themes:

Love is in the Air: Your favorite romantic couples.

Celebrating Valentine's Day: How are your resins celebrating? Getting all dressed up for a night on the town? Getting less dressed for an evening in?  Or are they up to something entirely different?

Leather and Lace: Lingerie and leathers.

Pale Blue (Aquamarine), Green (St. Patrick's Day), Pastels (Easter/Spring)

Themes:

In Celebration of : St. Patrick's Day, Spring and Easter.

Your Favorite Pair: Who or what is your current favorite pair? This doesn’t have to be a couple….it could be best buddies, your favorite pair of shoes, a pair of fur babies. Whatever comes to mind.

First love/ Oldest Doll : Post a pic of the doll responsible for turning you into the Ipleholic you are today. It doesn't have to be one you bought or (still) have...just the one that kick started your journey. Or post the resin (Iple or non) you’ve had the longest.

Elemental Guardians: Females

April:

Themes:

Animal Magnetism: Share pics of your resins with their fur babies or wearing animal prints.

Fun with Photo Editing: Place a frame around a pic of your dolls, add some text, play with shapes or whatever else you wanna do. Also, share tips, trick and sources of tutorials and/or plug ins for editing software.

Here Comes the Bride: Share pics of you resin ready for The Big Day. They could be the Bride and Groom, in the wedding party or guests attending the celebration.

Celebrating: Father's Day

The Heat is On: Time to break out the Summer wear. Swimsuits, shorts, tank tops, flip flops. How do your resins stay cool when the temperatures rise?

Favorite characters: Share pics of your resins dressed as your favorite characters from books, comic, movies, television, your own stories. Etc.

The Great Outdoors: Pics of your resins outside or pics showing your resins enjoying outdoor activities.

Anything Goes: Well...anything except modern "every day" wear. Dress and share pics of your crew in fashions that are Historical, Fantasy, SciFi, Steampunk, Etc.

Diva Devotion: Whose the Diva in your home? We've all got one. The one who demands all the pretties, or the one who just stands out for their personality or attitude.

Count Your Blessings: Set up a scene or post a pic of something(s) you’re thankful for.

Themes:

Deck the Halls: Break out your mini decorations for Chanukah, Yule, Christmas, Kwanzaa or whatever winter holiday fills your heart with joy.

All That Gitters: Sparkly bits, outfits & shiny shoes.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland: Break out the winter finery. This could be as simple as your doll in their favorite coat, cloak, sweaters and hats. Or it could be as detailed as a winter fairy/queen/king and her/his entourage.
